Longlowong is a small regional town located in the central west of New South Wales, Australia and established in the late 1800's. The name Longlowong is derived from an Aboriginal term of unknown meaning.
The region is largely supported by dairy farming and cheese production as well as stone fruit orchards.
A major cultural event of the township is the annual Longlowong Regional Eisteddfod held at the Digby Theatre. When it was built in 1927, the Digby Theatre was the proud centerpiece of the district.
