Long Beach, Niagara Region, Ontario

Long Beach is a small hamlet in the southwest of Wainfleet in the Niagara Region of Ontario, Canada. It is one of many popular cottage-based communities on the shores of Lake Erie. Tourist season is primarily in the summer.

Long Beach Ontario is a crescent shaped, white sand beach on the shores of Lake Erie in Ontario. The beach itself is over a mile in length and resides about 45 miles west of Buffalo. Because of its location, the beach draws many New Yorkers over the border. Long Beach Conservation Area is a popular place to camp. Als' Miniature Golf provides entertainment and snacks to many tourists and cottagers who pass through the area in the summer. There is also a convenience store, Concessi's, and a fish and chips restaurant, DJ's Roadhouse.

While Long Beach's history may seem otherwise uneventful. It is rumored that Credence Clearwater Revival played a show at 'The Cove' in Long Beach in 1968. The Cove is a Bar/Night Club that opened in the 1960's in Long Beach. It was the only bar located on the beach until it burned down in the Early 1980's. The Cove reopened in 1999 under new management and has changed hands several times since. The Cove has had limited success since its reopening.

Long Beach is also home to a group of seasonal cottage owners named the Long Beach Boys of Summer. Some of the members include the St. Pierre twins, Rich and Roger, Brendan and Ryan Parry, Mark Isherwood and Paul Anderson
