Long Beach, New Zealand

Long Beach is a small coastal settlement in Otago, New Zealand. It is located within the city limits of Dunedin, and lies 15 kilometres northeast of the city centre, between Blueskin Bay and the mouth of the Otago Harbour. The small settlements of Purakanui is located nearby.

As the name suggests, Long Beach is situated close to a beach which stretches for several kilometres along the coast. It is notable for a series of caverns at its western end. The cliffs are also used by rock climbing enthusiasts.
