London Freight Plan
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The London Freight Plan (LFP) consultation document was produced by Transport for London (TfL) and the London Sustainable Distribution Partnership (LSDP). The LFP supports the sustainable development of London and complements the freight proposals set out in the Mayor's Transport Strategy.
TfL's Freight Unit believes that freight forms the backbone of London's economy, and achieving an efficient and sustainable distribution system for goods and services is paramount to sustaining London's status as a world class city. The LFP shows how TfL is committed to helping the freight industry work in ways which save both time and money, while also reducing its environmental impact and optimising conditions on London's road network.
