Route 30 commenced operation on 8 May 1911 Between Kings Cross and Fulham Cross. Some of this routing is still covered today by the 30, as well as by related routes 74 and 430.
The 30 was involved in the 7 July 2005 London bombings, when a bus on this route, which had been diverted due to other incidents, was blown-up by Hasib Hussain, killing him and 14 passengers.
