[edit] Image:Telaviv founding 1909.jpg

I don't remember where I got the Tel Aviv photo, but I've seen that identical pic in so many places that it must be PD. At the time I loaded that pic I didn't concern myself w/ copyrights. Dinopup 13:35, 31 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image:European Court of Human Rights.jpg

Thanks for the warning. The source information was probably lost when someone moved the image from the English Wikipedia to Commons. I restored it now. Kpalion 16:50, 3 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Push for commons

I added {{Frianvändning}} as a good license. --Magnus Manske 12:15, 24 November 2006 (UTC)

Many thanks. /Lokal_Profil 13:27, 24 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Messages on my user page

Hi. Would it be possible for you not to add the entire template everytime you want to inform me about an image being tagged? It would be sufficient if you just added a link to the image. Thanks.

[edit] Image:Edvard Munch - Madonna (1894-1895).jpg

Hi. I was going through Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion/2007 January 18 and saw your nomination of the above image. According to Commons:Template:PD-Norway, works published in Norway prior to 1900 are PD, regardless of when the author died. Can you clarify any other reason to believe that the image might still be subject to copyright? Thanks. --BigDT 04:56, 25 January 2007 (UTC)

Please read the template carefully. It refers to photographs and documents, not paintings. / Fred-Chess 14:34, 25 January 2007 (UTC)
I take it that second comment is directed at BigDT and not me. =)/Lokal_Profil 16:20, 25 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] External pictures with permission

What's the best way to incorporate pictures owned by someone else that i have obtained permission from? external link or upload to commons? or some other way?

leaves - Marmelad

The best way (assuming that you have a digital permission, is to upload the file (to Commons =P ) and enter correct license etc. Then in the permissions box you say that you've sent the permission to permissions@wikimedia.org. Then you send the permission to that address and give the name of the uploaded file. That way when the permission has been confiremd and archived an administrator shoul add a link to the permission form the image page
...and leaves (but green ones) /Lokal_Profil 20:01, 17 February 2007 (UTC)

Now i dont care if u are Americna, Albanian or what ever, i care about those pictures you took out of the bio i made for a famous albanian actress. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Niklogoreci (talkcontribs) 00:03, 7 April 2007 (UTC).

The images didn't specify a source which had released the images as free. Also several images were screenshots from movies, and nowhere was there any info about the movies being free from copyright. The free in Wikipedia The Free Encyclopedia means that all material used must be free. /Lokal_Profil 22:39, 7 April 2007 (UTC)
