[edit] Trail of Tears

Hi, I noticed your edits to Trail of Tears. While the other tribes were subjected to Indian Removal, I don't think I've heard the term "Trail of Tears" used for anything other than the Cherokee removal. This isn't to suggest the other removals were less tragic or that they don't deserve to be more well known, just a matter of names. Perhaps I am wrong and the Creek removal, for example, is known as the "Trail of Tears". A quick bit of research into it just now gave me the impression that that isn't true, and that Trail of Tears is a term specific to the Cherokee removal. I'd have to look into it more to be sure. Do you have good sources for the use of the term for the other tribes? Pfly 05:25, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
