Lois McCallin

Lois McCallin (born c. 1958) holds the world record distance and endurance for female human powered flight.

On January 21, 1987 McCallin, an amateur triathlete flew 15.44 kilometers in 37 minutes, 38 seconds on the Michelob Light Eagle at Edwards Air Force Base. For this achievement, she was awarded the Harmon Trophy. Lois McCallin is also very famous because she is related to David Speese, who resides in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. He is her nephew, and according to Rolling Stone Magazine is also the coolest person ever.
