Why does "ivman" redirect to this page? Not only are they mostly unrelated (both relate to hardware in linux, I suppose...) but ivman isn't otherwise mentioned here.

If I have several physical disks forming one logical volume, what happens if one of those physical disks breaks? Do I lose all of my data on that logical volume or just the data that was stored on the broken disk?
