[edit] Great Guy
Logan was a great guy. I'm really going to miss him.

[edit] "He will be incredibly missed" at the beginning
Should it not be edited so it says something along the lines of, "He will be incredibly missed by people who supported him" ?. It seems rather opinionated, or it gives the article a tone that breaks some neutrality. Perhaps that segment should be edited out completely. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 68.60.35.46 (talk) 05:10, 5 December 2006 (UTC).
[edit] "Vanilla the Plastic Snowman" in infobox
Are band members who are not actually people allowed in infoboxes? tgies 14:10, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
Why wouldn't they be? Phil 20:25, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Clarification
"Although Logan overcame the cancer in December, 2005, it reappeared." Did the cancer reappear in December 2005, or did he overcome it by that time? Some minor cleanup to clarify things is needed. SailorAlphaCentauri 16:36, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
Also, the band The Velvet Teen is linked to multiple times in this article, when once should be enough. Other articles I've read on Wikipedia link to items once in the article, not every time it is referenced. SailorAlphaCentauri 16:39, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
So change it then ;-) Alexrushfear 18:12, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
- Fine, I did (the hypertext part)! :-P Unfortunately, I don't know the information to address the other concern I had so someone else will have to take care of that. SailorAlphaCentauri 16:08, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
Logan was one of my best friends so I don't feel that it would be appropriate for me to edit this page. But in regards to Logan's cancer, it actually returned twice. I can not give exact dates as I never really felt the need to write it down but Logan was told that he was cancer free from his first brain tumor in December of 2005. A couple months later, it was found that there was a growth where the original tumor was removed and he had to undergo cyberknife treatment to remove it. Doctors did not confirm as to whether or not it was a tumor or if it was scar tissue from the first surgery. Then in June Logan was told that he was cancer free again, only to be told a month later, in July, that cancer had spread through his spine and brain and that it was inoperable. Not sure why that would belong on the page but just thought I would clarify your first question.
[edit] Picture??
There was a picture before of Logan and Vanilla. It's been removed, so I assume it was copyrighted. Could someone post a non-copyrighted picture, or get permission to post one?
I will miss Logan very much. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 67.180.238.160 (talk) 08:05, 22 December 2006 (UTC).
[edit] Removals
I removed the section about the tribute band for him, as it smacked as an advertisement more than a piece of information. Also, I removed the section detailing the "coincidental" lyric. Many of Logan's songs contained lyrics about death, brains, and other such portents of potential foreknowledge. This particular example was unremarkable except for the fact that it was the final non-secret track on his last non-posthumous release.
[edit] Remember Logan Foundation
I'm wondering where the information on the Remember Logan Foundation is from. The linked web page, http://www.rememberlogan.org, only has an image on it and no information — where is the citation for the fact that this foundation will "provide funding for brain cancer research and treatment"? Nchaimov 07:42, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
The Logan Foundation is a trust that is being set up by Logan's Family. The first benefit was performed last weekend at the Phoenix theater in Petaluma, California. As I am sure you know, foundations take time to create but I don't think that every foundation needs to provide their paperwork to wikipedia to be a part of it.
[edit] Comments while deleted
Alright, yesterday, I heard of the existence of a 'Logan Whitehurst', and was curious. I googled it, and a wiki entry was one of the first search results. I click on the link, and am told that no such entry is on wikipedia. I then click on 'discussion', and find a very long talk page, and a mark declaring that the page is part of wiki biography. So, I assume that the entry was hacked, and that it would be back in a day or so. Today, I check back, only to find that now, the talk page is gone as well. Who is Logan Whitehurst, and why was he removed from wikipedia?—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.192.8.98 (talk • contribs) 02:59, 7 February 2007 (UTC).
- You may want to refer to this article's deletion log. Chupper 03:21, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Article undergoing renovation
During (and hopefully after) the AfD review process, this article is going to undergo changes in order to better assert his notability, so that hopefully this situation never arises again.
- I changed the picture to one with easy copyright verifiability (I took the picture myself) Albrot 03:18, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
- Okay, the article is now in a pretty solid state and edits from here on out will be minor. Albrot 05:10, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Discographies
Should the separate discographies, perhaps, be consolidated into one towards the end of the article? PabSungenis 19:11, 11 February 2007 (UTC)
That would make sense to me. Phil 20:25, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
