From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Logan Leistikow (born February 25, 1984 in Nacogdoches, Texas) is a filmmaker, writer, musician and artist. He is the the founder of Logan L Productions and Sober Stoner. Most of his notable works are short form videos (i.e. music video, short films, skits, and viral videos). Leistikow releases his projects to the public through LoganLProductions.com, although most of his videos can also be seen elsewhere on television or online.

Since 2005, Leistikow has been collaborating with fellow University of Oklahoma students, identical twin actors Dylan Cox and Daniel Ray Cox. The trio is sometimes referred to as "The Deans," and they graduated together in December 2006.

[edit] Notable work

Leistikow's comedic webseries, The Mustache Chronicles, went viral in 2005 and has become a cult hit among internet surfers; even gaining a spot on the IFC show Media Lab Uploaded. Leistikow was the Featured Director on that particular episode.

Michael Jordan's Phobia Clinic, a popular viral infomercial parody, was also written, directed, and produced by Leistikow. The wacky online video was performed by The Deans and was downloaded over 500,000 times within the first week of its release.

Leistikow has composed music for many of his own films, as well as other films and even video games. His Public Music Project has become a valuable resource for artists looking for quality royalty-free music.

In the autumn of 2006, Reader's Digest and The Little River Zoo commissioned Leistikow to film the world's only painting capuchin monkey, Bailey. The resulting video was featured on their website and was linked to from the November 2006 print issue of Reader's Digest.

[edit] Current work

As of February 2007, The Deans are currently producing an unnamed feature-length documentary about the Cherokee Nation.
