In science and engineering, a log-log graph or log-log plot is a way of visualizing data that is changing with a power law. Both horizontal and vertical axis are plotted on a logarithmic scale. All functions of the form y = axb form straight lines (where b determines the slope and a determines the x=1 intercept), since taking logs of both sides is equal to

\log(y) = b\log(x) + \log(a)\,\!
