Henderson's death was preceded by Henry Talmage Elrod who died on the ground in defense of Wake Island (won the medal of honor as well) so Henderson might be categorized as first Marine aviator to die in the air of during Battle of Midway.HJ 23:16, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
