My name is Walt Lockley, and I'm an architectural consultant and writer based in Scottsdale, Arizona, US.

My contributions to Wikipedia concentrate on design issues. Product design, interior design, architecture. These fields, they're all the same thing. And they're all in terrible shape.

By describing some of the work already done by Bernard Rudofsky, Charles Moore, Henry Dreyfuss, Frederick Law Olmsted, John Lautner, Victor Gruen, Samuel Mockbee, William H. Whyte, Lawrence Halprin, and other godparents who saw the link between human scale, user experience, and the social impact of their designs, we can push this idea forward a little.
