[edit] New article

I just moved the information in the article here from Spira (Final Fantasy X) after a discussion on the matter and a long period of input. This is the new homepage for Final Fantasy X's list of locations. All links have been repaired, by the way, so everything that should be linking here is. Ryu Kaze 15:31, 16 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Proof Dream Zanarkand is on another continent

On the Ultimania Scenario guide map we can clearly see there is an area called Zanarkand Ruins and another, with different geography, called Zanarkand (Tidus' Zanarkand) hence I added it here. Check this out [1] Renmiri 17:16, 26 July 2006 (UTC)

She's right. There's also a page in the Ultimania Omega that specifically says that Dream Zanarkand is located somewhere in Spira (see the link Renmiri provided). That being the case, it does warrant inclusion here. Ryu Kaze 17:36, 26 July 2006 (UTC)

its not on anotehr cont. its a island thingy. it was made that far and sin was made to protect it. i pay attnrtion. sin's only thign was to keep drema zanarkand from beign discoverd.

Aye the Ultimania map shows something island sized. And yes, Sin would prevent anyone from sailing that far and there were no airships available until Cid got his, and DZ was destroyed shortly after. Renmiri 03:18, 30 July 2006 (UTC)

Isn't the Ultimania Omega unofficial? JarlaxleArtemis 04:13, 30 July 2006 (UTC)

Not at all, Ultimania was published by Square Enix, and the guides come in a series of 3: Battle Ultimania, Scenario Ultimania and Omega Ultimania. You might as well say they are the most official thing there is ;-) Renmiri 13:52, 31 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Moved from "List of locations in Spira" to "Locations in Spira"

The title of "List of" suggests that the page might be kind of crufty, or an indiscriminate collection of random information. In actuality, this is an important page accenting Final Fantasy X, Final Fantasy X-2 and Spira (Final Fantasy X). While no one might have tried having the article deleted without just cause, some of us felt that going ahead with moving it before the problem could present itself would be the proper course of action, especially given that this article isn't exactly just a list. So it's now in its new home of "Locations in Spira", and all broken links that are supposed to be coming here have been repaired. Ryu Kaze 03:36, 27 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Necessary?

"It was attacked by Sin shortly before Yuna's pilgrimage, depicted in Final Fantasy X."

Is this really needed, as there is no canon proof that this happened. 193.60.218.253 10:08, 31 January 2007 (UTC)

have deleted it now Jammi568 18:49, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Secndary sources

This article needs to have cites from the official strategy guide, so that it can fulfull RS. The mere presence of an official strategy guide shows notability (and it's an independent company that does them), and the information describes all the game's aspects from both in-universe and out of universe at times. — Deckiller 04:15, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
