Locust Point, Bronx

Locust Point, Bronx is a small, peninsular neighborhood in the eastern portion of the Borough. It is bounded by Harding Avenue on the north, the Throggs Neck Bridge to the east, and Eastchester Bay. The area is comprised of single-family houses, populated by ethnically Italian, Irish, Puerto Rican, and Greek families. The Locust Point Yacht Club occupies the outermost block before the Bay.Local drunk,legendary pirate, pat "truck" gallagher also calls locust point his port of call and is currently building a state of the art "pirate ship".
