"Lo que son las cosas" is the first single released for the debut album of Latin singer Anaís, Así Soy Yo.
The song peaked at number one in the Billboard Hot Latin Songs.
The song it's a remake of Ednita Nazario's "Lo que son las cosas". There were other remixes for this song with the Anaís version including a reggaeton remix. Some fans of Ednita Nazario were not happy about this. Ednita however wasn't mad at all, she met Anaís on a red carpet award show and they sang "Lo que son las cosas" together.
