LNWR 17in Coal Engine

The LNWR 17in Coal Engine was a class of 0-6-0 steam tender engines designed by Francis Webb and introduced in 1873. They were called "Coal Engines" because they were used for hauling coal trains. LNWR engines were built to last and many of the "Coal Engines" passed into LMS ownership in 1923 and 35 into British Railways ownership in 1948. BR numbers were 58321-58361 (with gaps).
