[edit] Article improvement ideas

This is an important article from the standpoint of Northern California, and it is worthy of considerable attention. Here are some ideas for expansion:

  • Relate to area geometry of other valleys: eg amador and san ramon and explain tri valley concept
  • Discuss air quality and position relative to smog formation. discuss history of air quality study by city of livermore.
  • Discuss intrinsic relation of livermore to amador valley via LAVWMA in water management
  • Describe surface hydrology and stream confluences.
  • More info on soils, ecology
