[edit] roundtrip editing
what is roundtrip editing? Mathiastck 16:42, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
- It means editing that takes the same footage between multiple applications to build up the edits. For example, you take a clip from Final Cut Pro into LiveType (to add a lower third, for example), then take it to Motion for an added effect, then to Soundtrack Pro to tweak the audio, then back to Final Cut for the finished result (although you do go back to Final Cut after each app, in practice). --Baryonic Being 16:57, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
