Livingston Award

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Livingston Awards are American journalism awards issued to media professionals under the age of 35 for local, national, and international reporting. The awards are given by the Mollie Parnis Livingston Foundation in New York City and are the largest, all media, general reporting prizes in America.

Unlike other prizes in journalism such as the Peabody Awards, the Polk Awards, the National Journalism Awards and the Pulitzer Prizes, the Livingston Awards judge print, broadcast and online entries against one another. Largely as a result, the Livingston Awards are among the most competitive and prestigious reporting prizes in American journalism.
