Liverpool Student is a student newspaper based in and funded by the University of Liverpool Guild of Students on Mount Pleasant. It is a fortnightly newspaper which is printed 12 times over the academic year.

It is run by a large team of student volunteers, including writers, sub-editors, proofreaders, designers and marketing representatives. The Editor is the only paid position.

There are 8000 copies printed every issue, and it is distributed throughout Liverpool, as far as the Wirral and to most of the student halls and libraries.
