The Liverpool International Tennis Tournament is held at Calderstone Park in Liverpool, England. The tournament is not related to either the ATP Tour or the WTA Tour and players participating in the tournament will not gain points for the ATP or WTA rankings.

In the tournament there will be schedules for ATP players (men's singles), WTA players (women's singles) and former legends (doubles). The players play in preliminary matches before reaching the semi finals and the final.

The finals are a best-of-three set match. If the match goes to a third set, a super-tiebreak will decide the outcome. To win the tiebreak, you need to reach 10 points.

The defending champions for 2006, are Xavier Malisse and Caroline Wozniacki.
