The Livermore Amateur Radio Klub (LARK) is an American Radio Relay League (ARRL) Affiliated ham radio club located in Livermore, California. It was founded in 1959 and became an ARRL affiliated club soon thereafter. The club (or "klub" as the members refer to it) supports the Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES) and Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Service (RACES) emergency communications organizations. The club operates many amateur radio repeaters to provide HF, VHF, and UHF coverage over the entire Tri-Valley and surrounding areas. Through ARES, the club supports many charitable organizations by providing communications services during fund-raising activities run by the charities. A partial list of the activities supported includes:
- The Cinderella Bicycle Classic
- Green Belt Alliance Bay Area Bike Tour
- March of Dimes Walk America
- Livermore Duck Races
- Lions Club
The club also provides communications support for the Livermore Rodeo and participates in Field Day activities.
The club holds a swap-meet/flea market during the dry months of the year at Robertson Park in Livemore, and offers one-day licensing classes, and license examination sessions (VE sessions).
