Live at the Cow Palace is the first Grateful Dead release since Rhino Records gained control of the Grateful Dead's vault. Recorded at Cow Palace in Daly City, California. The album's material was recorded on New Year's Eve 1976 and the early morning of New Year's Day, 1977.
