Liu Yanshan, (1947-), a leader in the Communist Party of China. Mr. Liu is the assistant director of the Chinese Communist Party Propaganda Bureau, serving behind Li Changchun. He is one of 24 members of the Poliburo, the most influential group of politicians in the Communist Party.

Liu worked in Inner Mongolia for 20 years, beginning with his appointment there in 1968.
