[edit] Tim Dorsey and his Serge Storms novels (1)
- I created everything relating to these, which isn't much. I read the first five books and loved them. -Litefantastic 16:22, 25 Oct 2004 (UTC)

- Possibly the best known author from Israel: all his books have been translated into English and other languages. He is often touted as a candidate for the Nobel prize for literature, and his name comes up in political as well as literary contexts. A recent profile of Oz published in the New Yorker magazine is testimony that he is highly regarded outside of Israel. There's almost nothing in Wikipedia about any Israeli author (IMO at the very least David Grossman, Meir Shalev and A.B.Yehoshua are notable enough to merit their own articles - not to mention that Wikipedia has embarassingly little on Agnon and Bialik, but perhaps they're dead and forgotten); if I have to choose just one to focus on, Amos Oz would be the one. --Woggly 13:16, 8 Nov 2004 (UTC)

- One of the largest producers of manga, which has nothing but a list. I'm not entirely sure that that qualifies as 'literature', but I am willing to think it does. -Litefantastic 01:51, 13 Nov 2004 (UTC)

- For such an author, having written Maniac Magee, to have NO article is a shame. Children's books' articles seem to be lacking. ----

- People seem to think this needs cleanup; I think it just needs a bit more detail.
