Talk:Little Fighter 2
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I've done much editing and revision to the current page; however I think it could still use some work.
- Agreed, it needs to be added to. Among other things the character paragraph should be elaborated. Fyrius 10:08, 21 June 2006 (UTC)
Alright, I elaborated the character section. It may be a little dull now, because every description uses the phrases 'his primary attack consists of' and 'his combos include', but that's a minor issue that I'm sure will either solve itself or prove no real problem. Fyrius 13:19, 21 June 2006 (UTC)
Wow, "littlefighter2" doesn't link to this article! Very bad. I don't know how to make it do so, though. --67.70.38.125 21:52, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
- Wikipedia doesn't redirect everything. Why would someone search the game without using spaces? --Scottie theNerd 01:36, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
- I would. And did. --74.14.104.186 02:27, 26 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] more attention required
The game is huge, and more attention is required. samphex 18:46, 22 July 2006 (UTC)
Go ahead. :P Fyrius 10:54, 23 July 2006 (UTC)
- On second thought, I think the article as it is now is actually rather big as well. I wouldn't know what to add. Would you? Fyrius 10:57, 23 July 2006 (UTC)
How about a section on bugs? --Mr. Jenkins 12:36, 23 October 2006 (UTC)
EDIT: I have a list of bugs (for 1.9c), so if someone approves of a bugs section I'll make one.
[edit] "Jump-n-Run and gun game"?
First line in Gameplay paragraph: "The game "Little Fighter 2" is a horizontal scrolling "Jump-n-Run and gun" game." Wouldn't "horizontal scrolling beat-em-up game" be a better description? I for one never heard of "jump-n-run and gun"-games. And even if we keep this description we should make it consistent by choosing either and or -n-. Fyrius 16:17, 28 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Combos?!
The article defines combos as "...attacks that can be activated by pressing certain combinations of keys..." . This is definitely incorrect. I'm not sure what the name for those attacks are, I call them "special moves" or "spells", but I know that "combos" are a series of special moves and attacks intended to deliver more damage to the enemy. Example. In this particular combo, instead of just firing two arrows at the enemy, Henry shoots the enemy, grabs him, punches him four times, and then throws him and does a dragon palm on him (written as A+G+AAAA+<A+D<A). This takes about 40% of the enemy's health, while firing two arrows would have taken less than 10% of the enemy's health. So we have to find a different name for special moves, because they're not called combos. Also, if we want to be really fancy, we could include recordings of each special move...

I now see that in the official readme they are called special moves.

- Alright, so they're special moves. I also think that the meaning of the word "combo" might be pretty flexible and might have multiple definitions, but if you insist on using the term "special moves", I don't think anyone will object to that.
- Also, as a bit of personal advice, since you seem to have signed those post manually: you can more easily sign your name typing four of these in a row: ~ Wikipedia will automatically replace those four tildes with your name (or IP adress if you're not logged in) and the date and time of posting. Fyrius 07:08, 14 September 2006 (UTC)
There is also an extansion of the game called little fighter 2 reinforced which has a combo/special move for each character. Check it out here[[1]] I'm sorry if the link doesn't work I just started an account at wikipedia and I don't know how to use it very well. Mewanturlife 02:47, 22 September 2006 (UTC)
Um, it's just a mod, it's fan made. There are many many "extensions" such as LF3, LF4, LF2.5, LF5... It goes on. --Mr. Jenkins 23:44, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
Well, even if it was a mod, I suggest you try it. The mod has improved the combos and added knew moves. For example Firen can now create a fire sword. Mewanturlife 00:58, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
Nah I don't like it. Everyone is overpowered and every special move takes a minute to happen --Mr. Jenkins 01:46, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Mana Cost
211.23.168.14 added this line to the article: "whoever keeps undoing my corrections, please also erase this. But my suggestion is that they should put the mana cost." 211.23.168.14, did you mean that we should add mana cost for attacks to the article? It might be a useful idea, but since mana isn't really measurable in an easy way, it might be a bit difficult to add.
About deleting your additions, I did that because I assumed you weren't serious when you replaced, for example, "a kick that knocks down enemies" by "a kick that sucks". Edits like that are mostly made by people who come here just to make a mess of things for fun. Was I wrong about that? Fyrius 14:56, 30 September 2006 (UTC)
- Actually, it says the mana cost in the readme, which can be found on the official website (it doesn't come with 1.9c) --Mr. Jenkins 01:47, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] LFO
Why is there a link to the LFO website? --Mr. Jenkins 21:30, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Firen + Freeze = Firzen
It seems that Firen and Freeze need not have ⅓ of their health left before they can fuse into Firzen; they can fuse anytime. Can someone check? -- Altiris Exeunt 02:11, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
- They can fuse anytime while the lf2.net cheat is on. Normally, they can only do it when they're both at 1/3 or less hp. Sven87 02:22, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
