though LiNo3 is a group I nitrate it behaves as if it were a group II nitrate. therefore it decomposes in to Li2O and NO2 not to LiNO2 and O2 as indicated in this page, upon heating. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Pushpaka (talk • contribs). at 06:08, 27 April 2006.
