Little York is a town in Washington County, Indiana, United States. The population was 185 at the 2000 census.

Little York is located at 38°41′59″N, 85°54′14″W (38.699722, -85.903919)GR1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 2.5 km² (1.0 mi²), all land.

As of the censusGR2 of 2000, there were 185 people, 75 households, and 56 families residing in the town. The population density was 72.9/km² (189.3/mi²). There were 79 housing units at an average density of 31.1/km² (80.8/mi²). The racial makeup of the town was 100.00% White.

There were 75 households out of which 33.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 64.0% were married couples living together, 8.0% had a female householder with no husband present, and 25.3% were non-families. 21.3% of all households were made up of individuals and 12.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.47 and the average family size was 2.86.

In the town the population was spread out with 22.7% under the age of 18, 8.6% from 18 to 24, 32.4% from 25 to 44, 23.8% from 45 to 64, and 12.4% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 38 years. For every 100 females there were 101.1 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 93.2 males.

The median income for a household in the town was $42,500, and the median income for a family was $51,667. Males had a median income of $28,750 versus $28,125 for females. The per capita income for the town was $16,994. About 7.7% of families and 4.6% of the population were below the poverty line, including none of those under the age of eighteen and 20.8% of those sixty five or over.
