Little Rock Christian Academy
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Little Rock Christian Academy (LRCA) is an independent, coeducational, college-preparatory Christian day school committed to "excellence in the pursuit of truth from a Christ-centered worldview," located on Highway 10 in Little Rock, Arkansas. It is accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International and the Arkansas Non-Public Schools Accrediting Association.
[edit] Academics
LRCA has a 14:1 Student/Teacher Ratio. In 2004, over 50% of the 7th grade class qualified for the Duke Talent Identification Program. Students' test scores are consistently in the top 25% nationally, and the last 6 graduating classes have produced National Merit Scholars.
LRCA also requires a unique Worldview program for high school students, which challenges students to think critically, write persuasively and speak articulately. Worldview
is in many ways the classical, Christian synthesis of western, Biblical thought that the Enlightenment dismantled, unjustifiably and with extreme prejudice we might add. We teach our students the contemporary secular and mostly disconnected curriculum, but we bleed off the poison of its own ill-considered and opposing worldview.

In 2006, Senior Gaby Ngoundjo, a 6’7” - 235 lb. forward signed a letter of intent to play basketball for the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
