Little Neston

Little Neston is a small residential village south of Neston. There is a happy and friendly community which is envolved with lots of charitable events. Little Neston is governed by the Ellesmere Port and Neston Borough council. It is situated in South Wirral, Cheshire, England.

Little Neston & Neston is a former mining village, with shafts dug out underneath the River Dee. The slag heaps from these mining operations were open to the public and locally known as 'The Black Hills' In the last few years however they have been fenced off to allow sheep to graze.

Lord Nelson's mistress, Emma Hamilton, was born in Ness, the next village along and is remembered with the opening of the Lady Hamilton pub.
