The quality of Little Miami High School effectively complements the quality of life found in the Morrow, Hamilton Township areas of Warren County – Ohio’s second fastest growing county.
The school district covers significant territory – some 98 square miles, making it geographically the largest in the Tri-state. Cincinnati Public Schools, for example, comprise 90 square miles.
The district unites the communities of Morrow, Hamilton Township, Maineville, Butlerville, several other townships, and increasingly, the many new planned communities in the area.

[edit] Academics
Little Miami High School places a strong emphasis on academics – from 9th through 12th grade. The results? -- Student scores on mandated State Proficiency Tests and other tests improve year after year.
The district also focuses on providing individual assistance and programs for students who struggle to master the Ohio Graduation Tests and other instruments that help measure their progress.
Little Miami High School takes a leadership role in High Schools That Work, which offers a model of high achievement and the tools for high schools to achieve excellence.
Little Miami has consistently raised the academic bar, including the elimination of all general level courses, challenging students to higher levels of achievement. We also provide the support students need and the time for teachers and counselors to get to know each student. This strong academic focus is evident at all grade levels. More than 50 percent of eighth graders take Algebra I, as well as a foreign language for high school credit.
Little Miami Schools is committed to preparing each student to become a lifelong learner, reach his or her potential and excel in our complex and shrinking world.
[edit] Culture
Little Miami schools provide the full range of creative and cultural experiences at all levels – band, choir, drama, art, photography classes, debate team, chess club and the like. Students in each grade collaborate to produce their “yearbook;” the journalism students publish a school newspaper and, with an instructor, students also operate their own FM radio station.
[edit] Sports
Teamwork, camraderie, fair play and physical fitness are the key goals of athletics. Football, basketball, wrestling, soccer, softball, baseball, track, golf and other sports are available to Little Miami students. The district also has a strong Athletic Booster association and parent volunteers are active in all our sports programs.
