Little Eaton

Little Eaton is a village in the English county of Derbyshire. It is situated on the former route of the old A61 (now B6179), just north of the Derby section of the A38. At the southern exit to the village from the A38, there is a Little Chef. The village is in the Erewash district council.

There are three pubs in the village:

  1. the New Inn on the corner of Duffield Road and New Inn Lane,
  2. the Queens Head on Alfreton Road,
  3. the Bell and Harp to the north of the village.

There is a Co-op on Alfreton Road. On the southern exit to the village is the Derby Garden Centre. It was once the terminus of the Little Eaton Gangway where it joined the Derby Canal. On Drum Hill to the east is the transmitter for Radio Derby. It is a linear settlement and benefits from passing trade
