Little Cowpoke (1993) |
Here to There (1997) |
Little Cowpoke is the first album by the Grammy winning group Nickel Creek. At the time it was recorded, Sara Watkins and Chris Thile were 11 years old while Sean Watkins was 15 years old. Discovered playing at the Gene Autry Museum in Los Angeles in the late summer of 1992, the trio was performing much like professionals with a child-like, unspoiled joy for what they were doing.
Scott Thile (Father of Chris Thile) plays bass on the album and provides to the vocals on the Pecos Bill track.
