[edit] Trimming the list

This list is so huge and can be potentially even larger. I'm going to grind this list down to artists with articles. There are so many trance artists that anything larger than that really isn't useful. Wickethewok 23:10, 15 February 2007 (UTC)

Alright, the list is pruned. It is far from complete, so please add missing notable trance artists. Also, still need to sort by people's last names. Wickethewok 18:00, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
- I agree that the list was very long but you shouldn't just delete more than half of the page. A suggestion: create another article that contains all the previous artists, something like List of trance artists (complete) and add the link to the bottom of the page. It's important that people see the name of their favorite artist so they can write about him. Mihai123 23:56, 7 March 2007 (UTC)

I object. Its really hard to fail the criteria for WP:BAND, so its not like the inclusion for this is hard to meet. Please add trance artists here rather than creating a new article. People can and do create articles about their favorite artists regardless of whether or not they are linked to from this page, so I don't see a need to create a separate list.
