[edit] Suggestions

I voted to keep this page on the suggestion that it be change to include all titles in List of professional wrestling World Title reigns by length. It would be very easy to do since all you have to do is add up those lengths. TJ Spyke 03:45, 28 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Too Much Title PWI Debate

It would be easy to make a list that combines all of the titles listed as World Titles by PWI... BUT that list is very debatable, as PWI really doesn't have the final say or authority to declare world titles anyway. I would like to keep them seperate as no one will ever argue about the validity of the WWE Championship, the WCW World Championship or the pre-WCW NWA World Championship, but there is no way that the WWA, ROH, NWA (1993-2002), the late 80s AWA, or even the current ECW World Titles really compare to previous three I mentioned above. Plus PWI is leaving quite a few possible World Titles off of that list anyway; especially the various World Titles that were around before the official formation of the NWA in 1948. PWI is accepted by most people(in the wrestling industry and the fans) as the definitive source for matters like this. This article is a mess right now, and I want to know what other people think since I believe my suggestion should be implemented. TJ Spyke 20:37, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
I think the page should stay as is. Why shouldn't the WWE/WWF's World Title be tabulated apart from the other federations? It's good to have this apart from the confusing mess of PWI recognized titles. No one can possible say that Hulk Hogan's reign as champ is equal or less important then Dan Severn's reign as NWA world champion when that title wasn't defended.Essembi 20:18, 11 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Accuracy issues

List of WWE World Heavyweight Championship reigns by length shows Triple H as having one reign that lasted 280 days, which by itself exceeds the combined total of 259 days given here. Likewise, Rey Mysterio (112 days) and Chris Benoit (154 days) are shown with single reigns lasting over 100 days, which should put them on this list. Dsreyn 19:05, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

This is not a list of 'WWE World Heavyweight Championship reigns' it is a list of 'WWE Championship reigns'. The World Title on Smackdown is NOT the same title as the WWE Title on Raw. Rey Misterio's rein, Benoit's Rein and HHH's 280 day reign were all as WORLD champion, not as WWE Champion.Pretzolio@yahoo.com 22:06, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

When all of Bret Hart's 5 title reigns are added they total 654 days but this says he only had 5 for 623 days Y2c 20:29, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
