[edit] St John's Cathedral Limerick

Different sources give 280ft/85m or 94m as the height of its spire: can anyone explain this discrepancy? Joestynes 08:53, 16 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Buildings under construction

I have removed this

  • Eglinton St., Cork City, 80m (under construction, 70m without the spire)

Apart from the question of whether to list under spired, storeyed, or both, I don't think incomplete buildings should be listed, at least until they have reached their final height. Projects can get delayed or amended even after commencement. jnestorius(talk) 09:46, 24 April 2006 (UTC)

I've reinserted the Obel Tower and Eglinton St buildings under a new heading. Stu ’Bout ye! 09:22, 20 June 2006 (UTC)
Well, ok; but what is the cutoff point? I suggest buildings "under construction" rather than "planned" or it will be clogged with projects that never get off the drawing board (see this list). jnestorius(talk) 16:32, 21 June 2006 (UTC)

I am a little confused why we are linking to emporis on here. having checked out the other site - skyscrapernews - it seems to have over twice as many buildings listed for dublin for example.--Gothicform 21:44, 31 July 2006 (UTC)

Well it certainly has lots of planned buildings. It doesn't have churches. Whatever, I've added it. jnestorius(talk) 22:52, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
