I recommend we make an effort to distinguish between the writer(s) of a song and the performer(s) who recorded it. In some cases, listing all (notable) performers of a given song might be difficult, especially with traditional songs.WCFrancis 20:36, 16 September 2005 (UTC)

As was mentioned re "Piano Man," this article includes an overwhelming amount of songs not about alcohol but referencing it. It ought to be renamed.--Nate 19:19, 30 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Removal of "Beer" by Weird Al
"Weird Al" did not do a song called beer. For one "Beer Polka" is on the "Not Al page" (http://free.house.cx/~eil/etc/notal_list.html). Additionally, there is no song entitled "Beer" on this page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_songs_by_%22Weird_Al%22_Yankovic . SolidShroom 05:13, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
