[edit] Cat removal

In response to the individual who removed the opposes category: Including those who offer opposition is important in maintaining a neutral point of view, even if they are Nazis. Historically that is significant. Dandelion1 17:28, 21 February 2006 (UTC)

The Nazis don't belong there because those people are not notable for their connection to nudism; there are probably much more relevant opponents. The one who got arrested for harassing nudists makes sense, but throwing in the names of Goering and Hitler just Godwins your argument in favor of clothing optional. It's not helping NPOV to include them, it's a just a smear against those who would raise moral objections by saying "Hey, you know who else hated nudists? HITLER!" Also, about categories, I removed them because wikipedia has a policy against including an article in both a category and a subcategory of the same cat. Civil Disobedience and Culture Jamming fall into Activism, Protests and Social Movements, so it's redundant to include the higher level cat, and Social Networking is not about activism, it's about MySpace and Friendster. Look at the category listing, the only ones there that aren't about those kinds of websites are the ones you added yourself. It doesn't belong on the articles. So, uh, what's the point of having these nude photos here? I've read and understand the various "Wikipedia is not censored for blahblahblah" arguments, but I frankly don't see why:

a) there have to be any pictures at all, and b) those pictures present have to show full frontal nudity

I mean, consider lists of people identified as homosexuals. Those don't usually have pictures of some of them engaging in homosexual acts, correct? 24.20.237.11 09:54, 8 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] speedy deletion

This article was moved from a NPOV article Clothes free people title to a POV article title)Dandelion1 00:41, 13 April 2006 (UTC)

So you can move it back or ask for assistance at Wikipedia:Requested moves. Why do you want the content deleted? Kusma (討論) 01:08, 13 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Flea?

Why the picture of Flea? Is he an avowed nudist? If so, why isn't he listed in the article body? If not, it seems like this is just an excuse to disseminate paparazzi images.

If he's not mentioned in the article then the image shouldn't be used in this article. -- AnemoneProjectors (talk) 11:08, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
