What does this mean "in" Vancouver? These people weren't all born in Vancouver. Do they all currently live in Vancouver? -- TheMightyQuill 11:55, 3 June 2006 (UTC)

I think the phrase "in or near Vancouver" could be used. BTW, who is the rascalz? There's nolink to it...and I think it should be removed. Flytrap canada 23:43, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
I'm not sure just how encyclopedic a list like this really is. I did some searching around, and found only one other "List of famous people in <city>" article: List of famous people living or working in Gdańsk is exactly 3 entries long, only one of whom is even still alive. I did, however, find quite a number of "List of famous people from <city>" articles, and a couple "List of famous people raised in <city>" articles. Also, the last line of the article "believed to be" pretty well kills the whole verifiability thing. Wikipedia is not a crystal ball, nor is it a directory, nor is it an indiscriminate collection of information. Nelly Furtardo is from Victoria, not Vancouver. If she did live in Vancouver, she didn't live here long enough to justify saying she is really from Vancouver. I am removing her from the list.
