This article came into existance at 17:45, October 24, 2005 by me, HereToHelp talk. It is copied and pasted from the main Jacksonville article; see there for page history. A page similar to this one. List of people from San Francisco, is currently under review as an article for deletion, for reasons which would apply to this article as well. I am conducting an RfC on the talk page of the above-mentioned list to determine whether the concensus agrees on keeping such lists or not. Any and all comments are more than welcome. [edit] Natives vs. residents
I've recently noticed that people not from Jax, but had in the past or are now currently residents of Jax are repeatedly being added to the list. There is also the problem of Zephaniah and Anna Kingsley being members of this list, neither of whom were born there. The list used to be titled "Natives of Jacksonville," but this has since changed, and perhaps the criteria should change along with that. Although these and others are not technically from Jax, there seems to be a strong concensus that they should be added to the list. Should we create new sections for natives and residents, or should we just filter out all of the non-natives? Thoughts? María: (habla ~ cosas) 19:24, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
