Talk:List of people from Denver
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
How is this list arranged? There appear to be two consecutive alphabetical lists (by last name).
- A while back there was a dispute between myself and another editor about listing "Natives" and "Non-Natives" in different catagories on the original home of this list, the Denver article. The end result was that it was found to be not necessary to do so. The list was never put into alphabetical order in the proper sense, and thus, we have the list of today. A good idea, especially now that the list has it's own page, would be to do what we should have done back in January; put the list into proper alphabetical order. Anyone up to doing that? [edit] Lot of work needs doing here :)
I happened upon this when I wanted to add Jacqueline Madera. Spent some time sorting the list out into sections so its easier to read and added some descriptions where they were lacking but there needs to be some work done sorting out whether all these people actually should really be on the list. [edit] Stub?
Just curious, why was the stub tag put here?
[edit] Request for Comment
A page similar to this one. List of people from San Francisco, is currently under review as an article for deletion, for reasons which would apply to this article as well. I am conducting an RfC on the talk page of the above-mentioned list to determine whether the concensus agrees on keeping such lists or not. Any and all comments are more than welcome.
