The Joseph Cotter link on this page leads to some politician, not to a physicist; it appears like there is no article about the physicist. I personally don't know anything about the physicist Joseph Cotter, so I won't create an article about him, but somebody may be interested. Nikolenko 13:26, 8 January 2006 (UTC)
- Good call, IMO. (He also doesn't belong on this page, but in the Cs, and i moved the entry there in any case.) I got a handful of hits on
- "Joseph Cotter" physicist
- and he appears to be a recent MS grad, almost certainly non-notable. I converted the entry to a comment that only editors will see, at the correct location, just in case there's more to it than meets the eye. Anyone about to put it back (in the right place) will see the assertion of n-n there; here he's mentioned just in the summary visible in the history.

Some entries have got "fl." mentioned in brackets. Any idea what it means ? "Joseph, Nafisa (fl. 1990s), model" Jay 06:55, 2 May 2006 (UTC)
- Latin floruit or English flourished, meaning roughly "we don't know the birth or death date, but here's a time when they were producing what they're notable for." (FWIW, fl. exits, but most places we use the abbr are not suitable for lk'g to it. Hmm, Wikt:fl. needs to be enhanced!)
