As noted in the article's hidden text: Refer to Wikipedia:Notability — particularly Wikipedia:Notability (people) or, when evaluating the creator's work, Wikipedia:Notability (fiction) — to assess which contributors were notable enough to warrant inclusion in this list to avoid violating WP:NOR. Unless the creators' own articles make their notability as Bat-creators clear with proper citations, external sources will need to be cited to support each creator's inclusion (WP:CITE). Merely having written, drawn, or edited works involving Batman do not indicate notability within the character's history.Doczilla 20:02, 19 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Title

Assuming this doesn't constitute original research, shouldn't this be titled, "Notable Batman contributors"? -- Robocoder (t|c) 13:18, 18 October 2006 (UTC)

Maybe. Comics professionals use the word "creator" regularly, though. The OR issue is a big concern. Wikipedia has notability standards, though, and as a note hidden in the text points out, citations will become necessary. Doczilla 16:25, 18 October 2006 (UTC)
