Talk:List of notable American Presbyterians
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Note - this article originated as a section on Presbyterianism - but was moved as it added little to that article and was too American specific - the edit history prior to this move can be found there. --Doc (?) 14:16, 29 July 2005 (UTC)
I added Bob and Elizabeth Dole as I believe they both qualify as notable. Both are Presbyterian. Zeus1233 09:30, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
Is Jim Carey a Presbyterian? His page says Roman Catholic. Homagetocatalonia 03:54, 6 May 2006 (UTC)
Abraham Lincoln never identified with any particular branch of Christianity so he should not be listed here.
Shouldn't we take off the death bed conversion of John Wayne, the article doubts it happen while he was conscious.
[edit] Notability
I'd suggest that since this is a list of notable American Presbyterians rather than a list of American Presbyterians, those people with no existing articles should not be listed here. If they are not notable enough to have an article, they are not notable enough to list here. --Flex (talk|contribs) 14:12, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
