Talk:List of metalcore bands

For the record, I have on the 20th of October 2005 removed all bands whose wikilinks were red (as in, the page for that band did not exist), or whose wikilinks pointed to a page unrelated to the band in question. If you really feel that the band deserves to be held as an example to those not in the know, at least take the time to create the page for the band or disambiguate whatever page is already there, instead of expecting someone else to do it for you. However, before you start making pages for your friend's band or your favorite band that hasn't played outside of your hometown, make sure it passes WikiProject Music's Notability Guidelines.

Note, 11.26.05: Zombie Apocalypse is a thrash/hardcore crossover, and not metalcore at all.

Note, 1.8.06: Zombie Apocalypse is nowhere near thrash.

Dillinger Escape Plan is tech metalcore, NOT grindcore.

The Haunted is much closer to metalcore (especially the most recent album) than thrash.

Bane, Casey Jones, Madball, Stretch Armstrong, Terror, and Wall of Jericho are not metalcore. All of those bands are hardcore so I took them off. - AugustWinterman 11:47, 30 March 2006 (UTC)

SL33P?, although very new, is a metalcore band, and should be added to the page. Htezh 19:41, 30 October 2006 (UTC)

Removed 3 Inches of Blood, they are not even close to being metalcore.
