[edit] Added August Burns Red
They are classified as technical metalcore in their wikipedia article, as well as at http://music.mediaswim.com/rock-pop/august-burns-red.
[edit] Removed Meshuggah
Removed Meshugah, they are just technical metal or Mathmetal... they do not have their roots in hardcore, and their sound isn't realted to hardcore eithier, so they are not a mathcore band.
I don't like this list. I wouldn't consider half of the bands on that list to be real "mathcore". It takes frequent complex time sigs and time sig changes to really be mathcore. Using 4/4, 6/8, AND 3/4, sometimes in the same song (ZOMG) doesn't really make mathcore to me. Also, why isn't there a "list of mathmetal bands" or even a math metal page while a "mathcore" page exists?
This page should be changed to include all math metal/mathcore bands, so it is not just restricted to bands influenced by hardcore, even though already most bands on this list are influenced by metalcore bands. So to stop any more confusion, this article should be open to all mathcore, mathmetal, mathgrind, noisemath,or any other genre that uses mathimatic time singnatures.

MATHCORE AND MATHMETAL ARE TOO DIFFERENT THINGS. Meshuggah are metal not hardcore...
[edit] Removed Norma Jean
I Removed Norma Jean because the aren't so much mathcore as southern metal/chaotic
But from your statement, they are still conisdered mathcore. So I have added them back until someone has a actual reason why they are not mathcore.

Norma Jean really are no more Mathcore than any other of these bands... So why bother deleting just them? Days will chase 01:26, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Removed Mudvayne
Mudvayne isn't mathcore, it's nu-metal. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 213.207.120.210 (talk) 10:22, 7 February 2007 (UTC).
