In an attempt to provide good coverage on living philosophers and academics on wikipedia (in accordance with WikiProject Philosophy and WikiProject Academics) and in an effort to make wikipedia a useful resource for selecting graduate schools, I will be making extensive changes to this list in the next few days (or weeks) months. Finally done with the first revision. Yikes, that took a while. KSchutte 23:37, 27 September 2006 (UTC)

I'm going to remove Ken Wilber from the list, following lengthy discussion on his page. 271828182 21:57, 23 December 2006 (UTC)

I had hoped to avoid letting such edit wars trickle over here (that was my reason for including institution names and subjects of study on the list, so even the n00bs could tell who the phonies were). Nevertheless, if you've got the patience for such wars, there are at least a few other names on this list that you might want to investigate. KSchutte 21:34, 28 December 2006 (UTC)
