The Long Island Ducks were a *real* hockey team! They played at the old Commack Arena on Long Island, and the whole Slap Shot movie was inspired by that team and their league. The Chiefs, on the other hand, were fake. Bwysock 02:30, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
